Ophelia is currently in high school. She has liked this one guy named Theodore since her early middle school years. Now that it's high school, Theodore has been acting different. Theodore who once was a smart and funny guy in middle school, became a huge jerk in high school. One day, Ophelia finds out that Theodore was talking bad about her behind her back. Theodore has always known that she liked him but never wanted to acknowledge it. After Ophelia hearing this, she forces herself to let go but she couldn't. One random night, she sees a portal that ends up taking her to another world where things are slightly different. What could this other world bring? Could this open other opportunities or something different?

People say when you love something, it's hard to stay away no matter what; it could be a deadly disease and you still won't be able to stay away. From two different worlds but two sides of the same coin. It's almost like you're within reaching distance from them but yet you aren't allowed to touch them, embrace them, love them, have them. You could only admire them and dream of them. Ophelia Danvers comes from a rich and snobbish family. One that looks down on people even if their filthy rich like them. But she isn't like them at all. Non-judgmental and kind until pushed and not to mention that she's a hopeless romantic. Like every queen, they need to find their king but what if her king isn't the fortunate type? Trevor King, cold and stone hearted punk from other side of the tracks, is a student at Lakeford high. You could say he's a bad boy, delinquent, even lawless thug and that's true but there's more to him. Only his mother sees it. This is a story I wrote when I was in my first year of college. It's not the best writing and there are most likely some grammar errors, but I thought it might be fun to post anyway. Synopsis: Kinsley Slater is a high school senior who resides in the small town of Brookings, Oregon. She was born with quite a special gift-- she can see soulmates. On this Earth, each person born has a soulmate. Soulmates are determined by the shape of one's heart, and some women can see that shape. Although Kinsely is one of these woman, she is a cynical girl who doesn't believe in love. (most likely because she doesn't have a soulmate herself.)
