prologue
Sunday night, quiet and peaceful , the stars are out And moon full and bright .The night is very secretive , you can never see the other side of the moon , or whats going on at the other side of the world ,but imagine not knowing a part of yourself. A part half of your own family was hiding from you, A part you Probably never imagine to be real, just a fantasy out of this world. The night was cold , ever since i woke up on my sixteen birthday i kept hearing voices from miles miles away .By looking at someone i knew what they were thinking , by touching someone i knew their paths, their future . On the second night of november the worse part of all this ...I ..I Turned into some sort of creature . I looked like a white wolf just a bit bigger , i had purple stripes on my front paws , the were like tiger stripes but they had some sort of magic . It was all new to me , weird to me . I had a normal life , not anymore.

Destiny
In the beginning, there was nothing. Just a vast void of nothing. All consuming darkness. And then there was cold. Ice. The ice spread from the core of the earth to everything until the world was formed. And then there was heat. For a while there was war between heat and ice. They fought for dominion over the world. Ice was the first and believed it was to be in charge. Heat supported more life and believed it should be allowed to rule. Eventually, when both almost destroyed the world Ice had created, they decided to merge and rule together, to release both their powers over the world and create life. They did that and then they went to sleep, dormant in the village of Azarath, the village where the first witches were born. The village where it all began. ******************** "What am I? My dream continued the one I'd been having for the past couple of nights. I ran, gasping for breath, through the familiar woods from a dark figure behind me. The faster I tried to run, the slower I seemed to go, until it was like I was running in place. I knew I needed to run. I was terrified of what the figure would do when he caught me. "Mara Leigh," a deep, smooth voice called. It was almost hypnotic. That was new. The figure had never spoke before now. I ran as fast as I could go, eyes searching the forest floor for a big stick or something that I could use to defend myself. "Mara Leigh!" the voice came again, this time more insistent. The forest slowly started to fade and I started to awake to someone shaking my shoulders. "Beau?" I mumbled, turning my head to the side. What's Beau doing in my room this time of night? Why is he shaking me? "Do not call me that name." My eyes flew open as I jumped at the voice from my dream. A face was right in front of mine, and just like the voice, it wasn't Beau. Before I could form a scream, a hand covered my mouth. I tried to bite it but I couldn't get my mouth to open. He's too strong. I started to use my whole body to try to get away, but he crawled on top of me, holding me down. I pulled the hidden knife out from under my pillow and slashed as hard as I could at him, but he just grabbed my wrist and squeezed it until the pain made me drop the knife. Then he grabbed both my hands in one of his and held them over my head. He held me down while I struggled. I grunted and moved and tried to kick and scream, but I only wore myself out. Exhausted, I stopped thrashing and let the tears flow freely down my cheeks. I didn't know what to do, so I just tried to prepare myself for whatever was coming.Complete
Human Status
I live in a world where I am nameless. I live in a world where I do not matter except or unless I am owned by someone. I do not have rights, freedoms, joys, wishes, or aspirations. I am property. I was born and raised to belong to someone that will one day take me away like the fairy tale stories that I listened to everyday in the house I live in. When I found out it was too late to save myself. To think and in less than 4 days I will be taken away from my current home and be in a home of my own. I sat on the simple wooden bed hoping that my owner was nice and kind. I hated to think about some of the stories that I heard about the other girls like me. I hated thinking about being exterminated because I made my owner unhappy. I thought to myself that I would try real hard to keep him happy. I remember the covenant of rules that would keep me and my owner happy. I would need to follow five rules. 1. Always obey my owner. 2. Always be available to my owner. 3. Never talk back. 4. Always agree with my owner. 5. I am not human so I cannot do human things. I wondered how pretty human women were. I was so nervous about my departure I nearly refused to leave my room. I could leave if there wasn’t anything wrong with me physically. I remember the den mother telling me not to do anything that would cause a refund or else I would be exterminated upon refund. My new owner had thirty days to return me. If he returned me and no one else was interested I would be exterminated. I would be killed because it would be thought that I was defective and no one would want a defective product.Complete

Have you ever walked outside at night? When it's so dark and you can't see a thing at first? I often do that and I'm never afraid. Because I know that after a while my eyes will adjust to the dark and I will be able to make things stand out. I'm always safe. I always know where I am.
