Lord Death, Mortem, knew that Harry James Sirius Potter-Black would one day become his master. He decided to keep an eye on the child in case his future turned dark.
That's when he discovered how Albus had meticulously planned his young master's life-right down to how he should behave and even who he should end up with.
The old fool had laid out everything, treating Harry like a pawn.
Mortem, unwilling to let this happen, chose to change his little master's fate. He established a mental connection with Harry and quietly guided him through his time with the Dursleys.
When Harry turns eleven, Mortem plans to appear before Hagrid could arrive and take Harry to Peverell Manor instead. But that doesn't go accordingly.
Read as Harry and Mortem unravel Albus's manipulative schemes and turn the tables on the so-called leader of the light.

Elara Luna Black. Yes, Black as in daughter of the infamous Sirius Black, who was imprisoned for the murder of Peter Pettigrew and twelve other Muggles, as well as for the betrayal of the Potters. Or so they say. Yes, Black as in a the ones in the Sacred Twenty-Eight, which are a group of families known to be the purest of all purebloods. Elara Black was ripped away from her father when the Aurors came to arrest him for what he had done. She was pushed off to the side, barely old enough, but she remembered that Dumbledore couldn't even convince them to give him a trial, he wouldn't. Her image of her father was untainted by the rumours and assumptions everyone made. But, he was gone now, and she was left at an orphanage. Left to her own defenses. And so she learned. She read, and absorbed information and practiced her magic, before she even got to Hogwarts. It's post war and Harrison 'Harry' James potter is depressed. He's depressed that all these people gave up their lives for him. So in his sleep he just gives up. He dies peacefully in his sleep. And have a much better chance at life whilst living up to his Marauder heritage. A week at Malfoy mansion ~ Scorbus + Wolfstar
People said our dads fell in love, but were kept apart by their parents. But dad said this wasn't true, and I believe him, I always have. He's not always right though. He also said that Scorpius Malfoy would be trouble, and I should stay away from him. But I stuck to him like glue and became his best friend instead. While his parents were away, we got to stay at his house, the famous Malfoy mansion. This story contains mainly Scorbus, with a little Wolf star hidden in there too- I couldn't bear to let them die in this version when they were so clearly married. Sorry Tonks x Obviously I don't own the characters, that's all Queen J K, and Warner Brothers, if you want to get technical. Also I got the idea from my favourite fanfic ever, "three weeks at Malfoy Manor", (google it, it'll be the first to pop up it's really good, I promise).
