I am republishing this for a friend who wanted to read a sample of my work. The plot is all over the place, but I know I'll revisit it in future. I initially wrote this in 2017 before I knew a lot of things I know now. There's a lot in here that is culturally insensitive. I have done my best to edit out what I could find at first glance, but if you see something glaringly offensive please make a comment about it so that I can correct my errors. The most egregious example that comes to mind is using the G-word for the Romani and relying on unflattering stereotypes. I plan to correct a lot of this in proceeding drafts. Kingdom of Science - Dr. Stone Fanfic!
Hikari has always been friends with Senku, Taiju and Yuzuriha. It's always been the four of them. While Taiju loved Yuzuriha and Yuzuriha loved Taiju, Hikari found herself falling head over heels in love with Senku. And she told blurted it out one time when they were real young that she wanted to stay by his side because she loved him. But it's been so long, she thought he'd forgotten, something illogical as that, wasn't something Senku paid attention to, but he paid attention to her. She was the only one he truly let into his heart aside from science. When the beam of light covers the sky, Hikari gets scared and looks to the only person that makes sense, Senku. She grabs tightly onto him and the two of them are turned to stone together. 3,700 years later, in the year 5738, a minute after Senku wakes up, while in the middle of getting his bearings, Hikari wakes up, begins crying, hugging him, like she had been doing before they were turned to stone. Senku calms her down and tells her that there's more important things than reminding him of her feelings for him, as he already knew about her feelings. He tells her that centuries had passed and they needed to figure out how to survive. That meant gathering food, water, find shelter and clothing. When she looks to see what he means by that, she freaks out and hides behind a tree until he gets her something to cover up with. His brain didn't fully grasp the problem that she was naked, but he found her something to cover up with. Six months later, Taiju wakes up and the Kingdom of Science begins the restoration of humanity together! Hello, this story is not good. It was written by a depressed young tween who didn't understand what an abusive relationship is. I'm only keeping it up because it's my only completed book. Take everything a grain of salt. In this world, countries and humans live together, and there are powers given to the countries at birth/appearance. There's a group in Europe that murders innocent civilians just for the hell of it. They call themselves Emathron. Russia, an investigator/police officer, is tasked with finding and arresting this group of killers and psychopaths. His boss, EU, forces Russia to work with 3 others. Finland, one of the best snipers in the world, Vietnam, a silent and serious policeman, and Kazakhstan, a winged country that can glow when he wants. What will happen to Emathron and the odd group of officers?
