Eight Years

Eight years.
It has been eight years that Isabella Gutierrez has seen her family' closest friends, her dad's working partner and his family.
Isabella's father is a part of the mafia. He is a dangerous man but can be merciful at times. His closest friend is the Rodriguez family but due to a mission gone wrong his best friend had to go into hiding with his family in America. They were in hiding for eight solid years.

Except now their main enemy has died and there is no threat on the Rodriguez family, giving them the chance to come home. A reunion happened, parties, mistakes but most of all something was different between Isabella and her best friend's brother.

Emilia, the daughter of the Rodriguez family was Isa's best friend and her brother, Rome was something else entirely.
He is best friends with Isa's older brother but his relationship before he left with Isa was more of a hate but care relationship.
But Rome now can't keep ignoring his feelings towards Isa, whether he likes it or not he missed her a lot and he realizes that he can't lose her again.
Isa also feels something similar except she's knows how to ignore it and she continues to because there is something holding her back. A danger that only she is worried of because only she knows the plan.

Will Rome be able to protect her and help her get through this? Will they both be able to get over their own problems and finally admit what they have been ignoring?
