Anika has spent her whole life hiding behind smiles that never reached her eyes. Growing up in a broken home in a society where divorce was a whispered scandal, she learned to stay quiet, to blend in, to never expect love-because how could she, when she never received it?

Adithya, on the other hand, is what most people would call "normal." Friends, past relationships, charming smiles-he plays the part well. But it's all an act. Years of pretending, of hiding behind the illusion of emotional strength, have left him just as hollow as the girl he hasn't even met yet.
