In this AU, Shadow, as a baby, is sent to Earth, with his creator, Professor Gerald, and his grandaughter Maria, tagging along to care for him, though they land on the African Jungle. But just as they were waiting for rescue, a NOT friendly leopard attacks the Professor, and then Maria, who trusts a troop of gorillas to take care of Shadow. As the years go by, Shadow became a strong (and handsome) young hedgehog who knows his way through the Jungle as a wild hedgehog. One day, a group of humans, led by Rouge the Bat, comes to the Island and takes Shadow with them to New York, where he meets Sonic, an energetic and mean but insecure blue hedgehog who's popular in the High School he's enrolled in. Though Shadow will later learn that Sonic is being targetted by his ex, Scourge the hedgehog, for a sin he committed long ago. After a series of intense battles, Amy begins to quietly suffer the effects of burnout, stress, and overexertion mentally and physically. Her usual spark starts to dim as she secretly pushes herself too hard, eating less, sleeping less, and distancing herself from her friends. Though she insists she's fine, her declining health becomes impossible to hide. The team begins to worry especially Sonic, who notices every crack she tries to cover. !!!PLEASE READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE CONTINUING. -Set is a fantasy world that is heavily inspired by attributes of DnD and other related rpg fantasy realms. -Shadow (a blood hunter) had an encounter with a rampaging werewolf with the intent to slay it. The blood hunter and the werewolf, who turns out to be Sonic (a rogue), were on the verge of death until they were healed by Silver (a druid) with a shard from the master emerald. Accidentally, Silver may have also placed a curse on the pair. They cannot be separated and are bound to each other's presence. Shadow isn't too happy with the situation, and learns to cope as he journeys with the two- encountering other characters and monsters as they search for a way to break their curse. Not long though, Shadow starts to see the weight of the trauma held on Sonic's shoulders as he struggles to contain his werehog form. -Contains multi shipping The story's main focus is the development between Sonic and Shadow's relationship, with a side story ship between Silver and Espio. (One sonilver scene. One shadilver scene) I only write about healthy relationships. -Ages: Shadow(27), Sonic (26), Silver(24), Espio (25).The rest of the characters have been aged up appropriately and all above 18.
