On March 4, 1932, in the quiet church of Miraflores, there was an attempt on the life of the then president Luis Miguel Sanchez Cerro. This event marks a turning point in the history of the Peruvian Republic. What follows is not the Peru we know, but a nation that, since that bloody day, takes a radical and transforming course that will turn it into a continental power under a totalitarian ideology.
