the story opening about a mix 14-year-old freshman girl who wears clown makeup to school and doesn't take shit from other people, while also having the other point of view of a 17-year-old white/Korean antisocial smoker who is actually a sophomore instead of a senior. We see both from their POV's until they meet each other.
