Zayn Malik is in a gang. He runs around doing foolish things with his foolish friends at night. He isn't really a bad guy, he just makes bad decisions sometimes. But when his worst decision becomes an accidental nightmare on his part, Zayn regrets ever becoming that typical bad boy. Charlotte Daniels is a good, Christian girl. Although her parents were divorced and not religious, she took it upon herself to keep her own life in check. She wasn't perfect, and she knew, but she definitely made sure she seemed perfect. When Charlotte's mother dies while Charlotte was out, everything went straight to hell. Charlotte then had to move to Bradford to live with her father for the rest of her barely still existent childhood. She was "seventeen and a half and didn't need all of the guidance she received." After a couple weeks of school and getting to know certain people, Charlotte realizes that Bradford isn't such a bad new home. And there was definitely a surplus of attractive guys just floating around. She decided this Bradford thing wasn't that bad. When these two very different worlds collide, things go awry (surprisingly...). Fate is in the hands of the weak. Luck is in the hands of its beholder.

Zara's life is simple-grades, goals, and just... boring. Until Zayn comes along. Reckless, unpredictable, and constantly in her face, he's everything she can't stand. Despite her repeated attempts to push him away, Zayn is relentless, refusing to take no for an answer. He's obsessed, and no matter how much she resists, he refuses to leave her alone. To Zara, he's just an annoying, overbearing guy-until one day, he's not. She can't explain why, but she starts noticing things about him she never did before. Zayn doesn't care that Zara pretends not to notice him. He's already fallen, and nothing's going to stop him from making her his. To him, she's the one. Her anger, her rejection-it only makes him want her more. He's obsessed, consumed, and each day he's closer to breaking through the wall she's built around herself. Zara doesn't know it yet, but he's already wrapped her in his world, and he's not letting go. He won't stop until she realizes that he's everything she never knew she needed. To Zayn, she's worth every fight, every chase, and he'll do whatever it takes to make her his.
