Blue Rose University contains apocalyptic events with, witches, werewolves, and vampires involved in the timeline from the past to the future. The werewolves, witches, and vampires were at war with each other, because of their views on life, how they eat, and what they do. (Witchcraft, Drinking blood, and their appearance after a transformation) And because of these conflicts the humans have to watch, die, or suffer. And the humans view this as the end of the world. Humans fear death, and have 0 options to avoid this problem in this time period. Would you want to become a vampire to live longer and experience the things that you haven't fulfilled in life? Or be a witch(animal)and get ridiculed by humans who don't except you for your religion or what you practice. You may even be drawn to werewolves and enjoy the feeling of freedom, but kill people after a transformation, and be the reason for a shortage of animals in a farm. Also, if you had the chance to kill an entire race of creatures that have opposing viewpoints would you do it? In this book you get to experience the view points of characters that are part of 1 or more group(s) of people.

Fate and time has a different plan. Martha is drawn into a battle between The 19 and The Wild Roses. Two different factions each wanting to use and twist Martha for their own ambitions. Now, every year, any human from the ages of eighteen through twenty-one is chosen to go into Bevelon--the capital; the place where the wealthy supernatural beings live. When Kendra gets chosen on her eighteen birthday, she has no other option but to leave everything behind to live with her new master; a dark, dangerous man capable of ending her existence and her family's with the lift of a finger. For fifteen years now Werewolves have been known to man, well they've literally taken over. You could say the humans didn't take their existence very well. After 'The War' towns, cities and districts have been divided into territories that would house a pack lead by an Alpha. A person with power who should be obeyed by humans and Weres alike. Yes, they let the humans live, they say it's because they just wanted to live in peace. However, the humans have another idea, they only let them live because there's a chance that one of them could be a Werewolves mate. Some human's have become accustomed to the idea of Werewolves and being a mate, some even hope for a Were to notice them. Centuries ago, the supernatural decided to come out of hiding. It sparked a war, all sides suffering until a treaty was formed. All species signed it. While most of the world chose to intermingle and live in coexistence, two countries remained the outliers. North America split into territories. The werewolves took most of the mid- western side, save for the coast that had been more city dominated. The vampires claimed the coastal sides that were city dominated. A few decades after the treaty, the boundary lines blurred but still existed. Witches and humans intermixed; some preferred the solitude the forests provided while others liked the constant movement of the cities. No one was restricted to specific sides. There were stories of others, the fae and merfolk. They had long since died out during the war. Humans now threatened to follow in their footsteps.
