"Dear You," That's how they all start. Letters i'll never send to people i'll never say these things to. Old friends. First loves. Almosts. Strangers who meant too much. And the person i loved quietly, hopelessly. "Me," That's how they all end. Because that's all I have left. Me. These letters are what's left behind when the words get stuck in your throat, when the goodbye never happens, when the love doesn't land. Letters to the Lake is a collection of unsent letters from a 17y/o boy (me unfortunately) who feels everything too deeply and says nothing out loud. It's about the weight of things left unsaid, the pain of growing up, and the quiet courage it takes to love without being loved back. This isn't a love story. It's a letting go story. A holding on story. A maybe someday story. If you've ever missed someone who was never yours. If you've ever wanted to scream into the sky or whisper into the water. This book is for you.
