The year is 2520, America is no longer what it was. Now it is controlled by government and the "Chosen" system. Every year there is a chosen ceremony . Where when you are 18 years of age. You take a mandatory series of tests. After the tests you are put in a room with 8 doors. Which ever door opens for you is the chosen one.
This year its Myriah Calvin's turn to be chosen. But what happens when the test goes wrong? What will happen to her?
