When classic literature nerd and proud introvert Laurie is thrown together with a pair of loud, fun-loving slackers for her first college project, she sees it as her own personal nightmare. For twins Oscar and Kieran, however, Laurie's uptight nature and carefully curated A*s are the perfect target for their antics - and they don't go easy on her. But when a shocking, tragic event shakes their neighbourhood, Laurie finds herself forced to rely on the twins in ways she never thought she would. As they navigate the aftershock of the tragedy, and begin to attempt an investigation, all three of them are drawn into a complex tangle of misunderstandings, hidden feelings, and shocking twists that would give Sherlock Holmes himself a run for his money.
