I Dare You

Mattea Murdock was an anomaly in a world full of corrections.

The world she lived in only had two things;

Heroes and Villains.

But, she quickly discovered life wasn't as easily explainable as everyone wished it to be. Sure, there were heroes, who liked to believe as soon as anyone does a single wrong doing it automatically makes them a villain, and there were Villains in this world that thought if someone did one decent thing in their life it made them a hero.

But, what the black and white part of the world seemed to forget, was that there was also a grey to reality.

Sometimes, there were just people, people who needed to rob a grocery store to feed their family, people who kill to save another. People who do bad things, but for good reasons. Then, their was the darker side to the grey. People who do good things for selfish reasons.

In Mattea's opinion, those kinds of people were far worse than any Villain terrorizing a city, pleading Insanity in the name of their actions. No, to her, Villains were just kinda sad. She found they needed help more than harm, and the only reason they really do the things they do was to get people to listen.

So, really, all your run of the mill supervillain really needed was a good listener, maybe even a shoulder to cry on.

Now, convincing Dick Grayson that everything she believes in is just, that is a whole other challenge in of itself.

For she was not merely a poor, blind 14 year old girl...she was also Daredevil.
