This is a Link x female reader.

This takes place during the plot of Breath of the Wild. There will be spoilers ahead.

The hero of Hyrule, Link, awoke in the chamber of Resurrection a mere few days ago. It just so happened that his and Y/N's paths crossed. Who knew it would be so important? 

The fate of Hyrule is resting in the Hero and the Lady's hands. There is no way but forward. You and Link must work together to restore Hyrule to its former glory and prestige, but how will you overcome the unforeseen obstacles along the way? 

Lady Y/N was a strong woman. She was always known for her determined and passionate spirit for her people, and the kingdom of Hyrule. When she vanished after the war against the Calamity, all hope was seemingly lost. 

How will Hyrule ever recover? 

I do not own the rights to any of the characters in this story unless stated otherwise. However the plot line with the exception of the retelling of game events is my own original thoughts and ideas.

The Princess and Her Knight - A Breath of the Wild FanFiction by nightowl2525

Before the Great Calamity, Zelda and Link travel amongst Hyrule together. They must learn to tolerate each other on their journey. Zelda, having barely been able to leave the castle much before him, discovered her sense of adventure when she went out with Link. Is it possible that the two of them harbored a secret admiration for each other than ran deeper than friendship? Or would Link maintain his silence and not speak to the princess at all? This story flashes back from before and after the Great Calamity. What happens after Link defeats Calamity Ganon? This story is very long, but if I do say so myself, I think it's worth it! It has been a year since the princess and her knight were able to reunite and seal the horror that was Calamity Ganon. Now, the princess wonders through her kingdom of Hyrule, attempting to help her subjects and return the kingdom to it's former glory.
