Born into a family of four, Aarifa Malika has always felt like the invisible thread-present, holding everything together silently, yet unnoticed. With a high-achieving older sister studying medicine and a younger brother given endless chances, Aarifa became the "safe option." Her true dream? To study psychology, understand emotions, and help others heal-the way she wished someone would help her. But to her parents, it was a waste of talent and potential.

Now stuck in a dental course she never wanted, surrounded by people who don't understand her silence, Aarifa feels emotionally distant and spiritually numb. She accepts it on the outside, but inside she's unraveling-questioning her worth, comparing herself, and burying her emotions. Her only peace lies in prayer, especially the quiet evenings spent in the masjid near her campus.

That's where Rayyan El-Hadi first sees her-alone in the women's prayer area, tears streaming down her face as she whispers a desperate dua'a. He doesn't approach. He just notices... and never forgets.

Weeks later, fate brings them together again. Rayyan, psychiatry resident [medical student] volunteering for a mental health project, is surprised to see her-Aarifa, now a dental intern at the same hospital.

Their paths cross in quiet, meaningful ways. Rayyan is respectful and calm. He notices what others miss-the sadness behind Aarifa's smile, the way she lowers her eyes during career talks, the weight she silently carries.

Their story unfolds slowly, shaped by faith, sincerity, and unspoken understanding. As Rayyan's past surfaces and Aarifa begins confronting her own pain, a healing bond grows between them.

But Aarifa must still choose: continue living a life chosen for her or find the strength and courage to follow the one she truly needs

Taking two cups in my hand. The moment I turned around I clash with something, well to be correct on Someone. But before I can fall, a strong hand got wrapped around me, making me steady. Coming back to my senses my gaze falls on his white shirt which is now daubed with coffee. "Holyshit" I swear, and he gave me the death look. "Sorry" I apologize "For what? For swearing so freely or for making my day great by pouring on coffee." "For both, sorry, I can help you with a shirt or buy you a cup of coffee?" "No need, just walk with your open eyes. That would be a lot better." ~ AAYAN KASHAYAP. The first grandson, the eldest brother, the eldest son of the family. Where ever he goes he drips with empowerment, and dominance, and makes a room seem small wherever he stands. He's not arrogant but he knows his attitude. He's not rude to others but he maintains professionalism even with strangers. It's not that he doesn't feel anything, he's just not used to feeling and expressing it. SMIRA AGARWAL The youngest daughter, younger sister, and youngest member of the family. She believes TOO MUCH. She's filled with elegance and kindness, she sees the world with the most beautiful and positive aspects. She feels every emotion but doesn't let it known to others. She holds every pain she feels inside her and smiles brightly. ~ What will happen? when these two humans where one doesn't know how to express their emotions and one doesn't express it meet. Waves of emotions gonna hit together, pain, love, care, gonna bloom. But the thing is; are they gonna fight to be with each other when they find they are drowning in each other's love? "Leave me alone, Azlan," Shahana choked out, her voice tight with anger and despair. "I'm not going anywhere with you." Ignoring her pleas, Azlan reached for her wrist, his grip firm but not brutal. Shahana flinched, the memory of countless similar moments flashing before her eyes. She tried to pull away, but his hold was unwavering. Desperate, she cast a pleading glance at her father, who stood frozen, his face a mask of conflicting emotions. His wife reached out to comfort him but was stopped by a subtle shake of his head. "Azlan, listen to me," Shahana said, her voice shaking. " I don't want to be in this relationship anymore. I want a divorce." The words hung heavy in the air, met with a tense silence. Azlan's jaw clenched, his eyes hardening. He wouldn't let her go, not without a fight. Yet, amidst the fire of his determination, a flicker of pain flickered across his face. Shahana, emboldened by the spark of vulnerability, shifted her gaze towards her in-laws. "Baba," she pleaded, her voice trembling slightly. "Please ask Azlan to stop. I don't want to leave with him." Azlan's father, a man known for his calm demeanor, took a hesitant step forward. "Azlan," he began, his voice measured. "Perhaps we should all..." Before he could finish, Azlan cut him off, his voice laced with a controlled fury. "No, Dad. This is a private matter. Let us handle it." Even in the heat of his emotions, respect for his family shone through. He may be a ruthless businessman, but he wouldn't disrespect his father, the one person he truly valued. However, on this issue, he was determined to have his way. Ignoring everyone, he marched towards his car, grabbed her arm, and ushered her into the passenger seat. Without a word, he started the engine and sped away.

She had no one left to talk to. So she talked to him - a man who would never reply. For five years, Vaanika Subramaniam poured her soul into the DMs of a stranger. Not for attention. Not for love. Just to survive. To feel like someone, somewhere, might be listening. To the grief clawing at her chest. To the rage of growing up in a house that fed on silence. To the pain of being a girl the world tried to break - gently, slowly, and then all at once. That stranger? Ekaansh Vashisth. Actor. Icon. Lie. India's most beloved face - with a smile curated to perfection and eyes that forgot how to feel. At 34, he's drowning under fame, betrayal, and the unbearable noise of being wanted by everyone but loved by no one. Until one night - In the haze of heartbreak and insomnia - He opens his DMs. And finds 20,000 messages. From her. Messages that read like confessions. Like poetry. Like someone saw him without ever looking. And for the first time in years - he listens. While he is finally heard. What begins as curiosity becomes obsession. Because her whispers sound like home. Because she was unraveling - and he was the thread she didn't know she was clinging to. - This is not a love story. This is two broken people whispering into the void - and somehow, finding each other there. An age-gap slow burn. A story of unseen love, aching silence, and the way two strangers can unknowingly become each other's lifeline.

"So you approached me without being aware of my identity?" He asks me, while raising an eyebrow. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. It takes me a while to compose myself and form a sensible reply. "Yes, I wasn't aware of your identity." "You might think you can fool me, but trust me, this has happened quite a few times before as well." He says with a very serious expression. I'm baffled by his accusation. This man has the audacity to question my intentions when he's the one trying to converse with me all along. I don't know what comes over me, but whenever I'm overwhelmed with anger, it turns into tears. And before I can compose myself, I taste the salty tears in my mouth. I take a few deep breaths, place the cup on the side table and get up to leave. "Thank you for your hospitality and your excellent assessment of my character. I will now take your leave." With that, I turn to head towards the door but he grabs my hand and pulls me towards him. Characters: Ameerah is a happy-go-lucky 23 year old who has recently graduated from med school.
