Kro-Ma is a failure; a washout of the Jedi. While considered a natural with a lightsaber, his ability to utilize the Force was minimal, costing him the chance at being chosen as a Padawan. Ashamed for his failures, and unable to return to face his family on Kiffar, Kro-Ma is given the chance to join the Jedi Service Corps.
Thanks to his lightsaber skills, Kro-Ma was given an assignment with the Exploration Corps as a Seeker-candidate under Jedi Master Hallan Krintu. Tasked with navigating new hyperspace lanes, Kro-Ma hopes to one day prove to himself that he has worth to the Republic in its darkest hours.
