Promise?

Luca Hudson has it all.

Captain of the football team, dream car, money, and popularity. He was the topic of everyone's discussions. And yet, he still didn't feel complete. There's something- or someone in his past that he can't forget. And when it returns, he realizes it's not going to be the same way it used to be.

Luca Hudson is used to getting what he wants, but what if that's bound to change?

"Has his lips touched yours?" I hear her suck in a breath, but her stare stays locked on mine, in fact, she raises her head in determination. "Yes," she answers steadily. Then I feel the anger start to build.

"Has he touched you?" And I know I don't have to elaborate. Me and her both know what I mean. When her gaze falters, I already know my answer. My jaw instantly clenches, and I've never wanted to get rid of someone so fast.

I swallow the lump of hurt and anger stuck in my throat, and say:

"We were going to wait for each other, we said that." As the words leave my mouth her eyes snap to mine angrily. She stalks up to me, and when she's close enough, I then see the hurt gloss her beautiful eyes.

"And you said you'd always be there for me. So I guess we both made promises we couldn't keep."

And with that, she leaves.
