Victoria Callahan never imagined that returning to NYC for her grandfather's funeral would end with her owning a bar. Not just any bar, a legacy. One of the only bars in NYC to survive the prohibition.

Thanks to her grandfather, George Callahan, his smarts and charm, a couple of underground passages helped save decades worth of stories in their walls. Stories that certain people will pay a lot of money to hide, if not kill for.

Now with dust in corners, rot behind the walls, and a towering pile of unpaid bills collecting, Tori must decide to cave into the demands of buyers or continue the bar on her own.
After a long night of drinking and complaining about suppliers and the plumbing to a local regular, Austin Keller, Tori decides to take him up on his offer to help fix up the bar back to its original luster.

She knows she could be repeating another huge mistake, but she is willing to try anything to make something of herself and bring her grandfather's legacy back to life. Even if that means putting all her trust into a mysterious man she hardly knows.
