The sun hung low over Blackwater Hollow, bleeding orange and gold across the sky, stretching the shadows of pine trees long over the sleepy town square. The air smelled of damp earth and woodsmoke, the last remnants of autumn clinging to the wind. In the heart of the Hollow, where the werewolf pack gathered most evenings, the world moved slow and warm, like honey dripping from a spoon. ----------- Posted: May 6 2025 Author's note: Hi. Thanks for giving my story a chance. I really don't have a plot for this one in mind, just some general directions I know I'll head in. So if you find yourself caring about a character, comment some feedback so I can know to write more about them. Honesty, I'm writing this more out of frustration than anything else. I know what I want to see in a werewolf book, and I'm not finding it out there, so that's why I'm doing it myself. Vote. Comment. React. Also, let me know which characters seem most interesting to you pls. Right now, I've given myself the goal to write more than one chapter a day to get this story really going. I want to see these characters' story lines just as much as you do, so let's enjoy the ride and see where it takes us. ------- Rankings #7- outsider #19- belonging #25- leaving #28- oracle, adulthood May 8th, 2025

When no one talks to you anymore or even sees you, you wonder, what's the point? I could move after high school, I could start over, but it wouldn't change anything. I would still be that awkward girl. The one that hides in the shadows to stay out of people's way. I always sit in the back corner near the window in the classroom. I like to look outside toward the woods, especially when it's raining and the raindrops trail down the window. I watch their path from the top and all the way down to the bottom where they disappear. I wish I could disappear. --------------------------------------------------- This is a werewolf story. It contains mature content, sexual scenes, suacidal thoughts and little bit of violence.
