He has these stitches that, don't go away.
Newt was on his own.

Once these lost boys find each other,
they knew they were going to need one another to get the answers of these stitches.
they have meaning, but if they don't stay together they'll never know what the real meaning is.
It's quite odd, but Thomas knew that Newt was the one for him.
