But when the Timewar came, the Sun and the Doctor were separated. Vowing to meet back at the Capitol before the end, the Sun thought they'd escape together.
She was wrong.
Hurtling through space together using a very old vortex manipulator, she ends up on Earth alone, confused, and newly regenerated.
The Doctor kept travelling. He suspected she died on Gallifrey with all the other timelords. But when he and Rose Tyler end up in an underground facility on Earth in 2012, he realises he may not be as lone as he first thought...

I made this as canonically correct as possible, pulling each Doctor and his corresponding companion from episodes to make this possible, but if you catch me in an error... I claim AU! Ha ha. It is for all intents and purposes a Capaldi episode, within his first season, long before Face the Raven. This is a Doctor Who fanfic for superfans only, as the entire first section only describes each Doctor by his attire, so you have to guess which is which by their apparel and companions. If you aren't familiar with each and every Doctor, this story will get very confusing. That being said, I hope you enjoy!Complete
