Winona thought her biggest problem was being invisible. Not in the metaphorical sense - but in the most literal way a person can be erased. On Earth for only ten years, she's still studying the delicate choreography of humanity. She can mimic them. She's good at it, even. But mimicry is not belonging. Belonging would mean to exist, and Winona has never been certain she does.
And as far as the cosmic balance is concerned, she doesn't exist. Heaven doesn't know she's here, Hell never got the memo either. Even Death, for all his meticulous bookkeeping, couldn't find her name in the ledger if he tried. The earth itself seems to forget her over and over, the way a hand might absently brush dust from a table.
Yet, strangely, Dean Winchester seems to remember.
And that is where everything begins to go wrong.
