Storie d'Amore
In the heart of Parisian bohemia, Paola Santoro, an Italian art teacher, finds herself torn between two men and two different conceptions of love. On one side is Denis, the caring boyfriend with whom she shares a stable relationship of five years; on the other is Pierre, the mysterious owner of a jazz club who drags her into an overwhelming and self-destructive passion. When Paola decides to follow Pierre to New York, abandoning everything, she discovers that the freedom she sought is actually a new form of golden prison. Her journey through three cities - Paris, New York, and Florence - becomes a search for her own identity, a path to reconcile the different parts of herself: light and shadow, security and risk, love that nourishes and passion that devours.

Homeless

A black, business owner of a small New York City bakery, Danielle has achieved success. She owns her own home, has traveled the world and is only 26 years old. Even with all her successes, she remains compassionate and selfless. The only thing she hasn't been quite successful in is her love life. Enter in Derek. Derek is a handsome white male also living in New York City. His beauty however, is buried under dirty brown, shoulder length hair, a full beard and clothes that haven't been washed in years. He's been homeless since he was 16. Now he's 28. After being constantly harassed by shop owners and police officer and moved from place to place, Derek finds a new place in the alleyway behind a bakery. As the New York winter begins to roll in, Danielle's compassionate persona moves her to do things most people wouldn't.
