The pinkette man stared intensely at the person in front of him, trying not to focus on the opponent team's member.
The ball flew at him as he swing his bat, missing.
"Strike two!"
The umpire behind him snickered and he hissed. I can't, he thought, I can't let that girl distract me.
"Strike three!"
His teammates stared at him, theirs eyes widened. Their best player had missed all three shots in under five minutes.
"Hey, bro. What's wrong with you today?"
"Let's just say the opponent is someone who can be easily loved."

When we meet again
"Natsu, you make me happy. And I don't know how I could've gotten through this week without you. Even with me not being able to speak you didn't plead with me to get me to talk or force me to talk. It made me love you even more for that." I paused for a moment, feeling the lump in my throat form, signaling that I was going to cry again. I took a shaky breath and looked at him with pleading eyes. "I don't know how I'm going to get through how ever long it is until I see you again. Please convince your parents to come with me! Please Natsu!" After Lucy and Natsu had just confessed their love for each other. Lucy finds out that her parents pass away in a fatal car accident. A week later after being taken in by the Dragneel family, on Natsu's thirteenth birthday, Lucy's sister Michelle comes to take Lucy home with her to Paris to live with her and her husband. Lucy stays in Paris, only keeping in touch with one friend during her four years there. On her sixteenth birthday, Lucy finally moves back to Magnolia. With Natsu heavy on her mind, she gets a job and begins attending the same high school as Natsu. What happens when they get assigned to be partners on a school project after not speaking for four long years? And finding out she just happens to have gotten a job at the same place Natsu works? Will their love blossom as quickly as when they were twelve? Or will they never be meant to be with each other ever again. The cliff's jagged edge was painful underneath my fingers and the sweat under my hands made them slippery. "Lucy!" I heard a desperate man calling my name. One of my hands slid from the perspiration and dropped by my side. "Natsu!" I screamed back, swinging from the edge. I looked down and saw a dense fog obscuring my view of the bottom hundreds of feet below. Suddenly my other hand slipped and my stomach dropped. My body flew from the cliff...
