In a galaxy teetering on the edge of chaos, Jedi Padawan Yasmin Lastroy is dispatched to the devastated world of Dathomir. Amidst the ruins, she rescues Senator Sierra, a refined political leader haunted by an unshakable sense of being watched. As they journey together, Yasmin finds herself inexplicably drawn to the brooding and stern Kylo Ren, both in and out of sleep-his presence stirring a darkness within her that challenges her Jedi convictions. Simultaneously, Sierra becomes increasingly unsettled by Anakin Skywalker, Kylo Ren's half-brother, whose gaze seems to pierce through time itself, his actions teetering on the edge of protection and possession.
