After Chiara parents divorced, Chiara's father took her with him in Spain.
Chiara hated it in Spain, and not because it was a new country and new people. Because she was far away from her mother.
Her life is going to change the moment she finds out that her father is going to marry someone else. That's when Chiara turns back to Rome, back in the old little village where she grew up, not knowing that this was the best decision she ever made.
