As a result, her effectiveness has begun to plummet, and it doesn't seem as though there's any way out.
Her allied Paragon and close friend Hailey a.k.a. The Viper tries to help her through it, as does Monica's fellow hero and Paragon Herman, but nothing seems to get her out of her funk......until Spokesman Cabler, a crafty and traitorous associate of Mercury Heights's mayor, gets out of prison and begins plotting to ruin the Paragons' name with a thorough smear campaign......starting with the three in the city he resides in.
Will Voltara rise to the occasion? Or has her tenure as a superheroine truly shorted out for good?
