Humanity. The Apex Species living in the planet called... Earth, located in the Sol System
That was. Until *They* came
The Raptures. An unknown alien civilization appeared out of nowhere one day, they spawned from the darkest corners of the Earth, it is still unknown how they even appeared.
But Humanity had more pressing problems
The two fought a bloody war, lasting a unknown amount of time, it was informally called "The World War" during the "Second Dark Age"
Ultimately. Humanity lost, Bad. Due to the Raptures endless numbers and invulnerability to most weapons.
Humans, more than 90% of their population dying, what's left of humanity was driven underground
Forced to adapt and survive
But even in this harsh times, Humanity remains corrupt, evil, and uncaring to each other
Though... The ones on the surface are different. Even after the War. Humans still lived in the surface, in small pockets, scavenging scraps of technology from the Second Dark Ages. Barely getting by
But once these two discover each other. And hopefully... Hopefully unite
"War does not care who is right. Only what is left"
And what is left... Shall rise once more

Actually not literally, you know, because otherwise that would be really gross. Who is V.K. McAllister? We're a husband/wife duo (Andrew and Sasha McAllister) with a unique approach to writing. The Tallest Tale
Well over a Century ago, an unknown force of beings plunged from the Stars to invade and spread across our planet. The Raptures, as they have come to be called, have since taken the surface of our world as their own, with Humanity locked underground In a grand bastion: The Ark. Yet none of that is important. What would that information do for a person who has woken up in the middle of nowhere, with no recollection of anything? What will they get out of it? Or rather, what would that do when they simply don't know what they are, or who they are? All they know is they're alone. Alone, and unknowingly carrying a vital piece many have been searching for.
A God To Victory
The human spirit is too weak to go up against the likes of those alien robots. We have no chance to beat them, this is the end of the world, we will come to extinction and only these artificial lifeforms will know what happens to us. We must create our own Artificial lifeforms to go up against those Aliens. Few Months went by and we've found our answers Survivors please make your way to your nearest bunker and make sure to not stay in large groups. Men and Women alike your are our key to victory It seems like the women are more capable of leading on than the men. By 2057, Earth will be a shadow of its former self. Decades of unbridled consumption and climate negligence have left the earth almost desolate. Water, oil, and lush land are relics of the past, valued more than money. All nations have collapsed under the weight of famine, disease, and internal upheaval, leaving only two superpowers: the United States and Russia. They were once reluctant allies but now find themselves embroiled in a deadly, global fight for the planet's few remaining resources. While the population fights to survive in enormous urban wastelands, both regimes use advanced technologies and covert tactics in a desperate push for absolute dominion. During the pandemonium, 17-year-old Caleb Morrow, a scrappy survivor from the ruins of Canada, is conscripted into the US military. Meanwhile, on the other side, Elena Morozova, an 18-year-old Russian conscript hailing from the ruins of Norway, ascends the ranks in the Russian military. As this conflict between the 2 last countries left spirals out of control, the past suddenly begins to rise from the ashes leaving questions to arise in the thoughts of many soldiers on both sides including Caleb and Elena that, if answered, reveals a dark and unsettling truth.
