Isabelle was once happily married. She would have never imagined, even in her wildest dreams, that she would ever be stuck in a marriage with a person that no longer feels like her equal. Isabelle and Vincent were the perfect couple---priorities straight, respected each others' individuality, saw each other through tough times, and all else in between. But all of a sudden, they now feel like strangers in the same house. Neither one of them knew why. Maybe they were so conformed in the idea that marriage should also involve individual growth that they have lost their connection, one that used to be at arm's length. Since they got married in California while they were still in college, a divorce was an option. So, a mutual decision was made. Now living in separate houses, Isa is tasked to rediscover herself and who she was before she met Vincent. She needed to be reminded of the woman that she was before this hot-shot businessman gave her the life she wanted---or so she thought? In the midst, she meets Engr. Miguel Rodriguez---the "guy at the bar", she calls him. Will he just be the "guy at the bar?" or something more?

*She ran for a new life. He followed with a contract-and a past she never saw coming.* When Everly Blossom moves to Canada, she's determined to leave behind the shadows of her father's legacy and start fresh. In her twenties, with a heart full of hope and a resume of regrets, she finally lands a job, new friends, and a taste of freedom. But everything changes the night of the party. There, she reunites with an old friend-and locks eyes with a stranger who feels more like a warning than a man. Vincent is cold, unreadable, and far too interested in her. Weeks later, when her boss urges her to transfer... to his company, she walks away without a second thought. Then he finds her again. At the mall. In her new job. Still watching. Still offering. Still refusing. Until the night he stops asking-and starts taking. Dragged into his world and bound by a contract she never wanted to sign, Blossom is forced to confront the one truth she's spent her life running from: You don't choose men like Vincent. They choose you.
