Season of Feelings

This story was something I wrote back in 12th grade as a class requirement, but it's more than just homework to me now. I recently found it in my old archive and felt like posting it-not because it's perfect (I know my grammar still has a long way to go), but because I'm proud that I wrote this all by myself. It's a piece of me that I don't want to lose. It was inspired by a trio of songs from a singer-songwriter I deeply admire. These songs explore three different but deeply intertwined perspectives of love, loss, and self-discovery. They remind us how love can begin in innocence, drift into temptation, and eventually settle into reflection. I tried to capture those transitions through the seasons in my story-how people change, how love transforms, and how, in the end, what we learn about ourselves may be the most important thing we gain.
