rose cosmoses was a thirteen year old Danish princess. she had an 15 year old brother, Adar, and two 6 year old twin sisters Bea and Cella. her parents were the king and queen and they were almost never around. for some reason, Adar just hated her guts and was always rude to every one. Bea and Cella used to just mind their own business and have a tea party, but now that they've grown they follow rose every where. rose was a magnificent musician. while she played her flute, Adar, as always, was watching tv. those arguments usally went down like this: "STOP PLAYING THAT DAMN HORRIBLE MUSIC, IM TRYING TO WATCH MY TV" Adar would yell from the TV room. "why don't you go some where else to watch it because I have a contest on Monday and this is the designated musical practice room" rose would politely reply, taking a pause from her flute. Adar would then angrily get up, come into the practice room and knock something down that seemed to be in use while walking up to his room. she started to play again. she got through about two songs, then in the middle of her third she got intrupted again. "honey, you need to calm down on Adar" rose's mother had said. "mother, I was calm. I handled him with politeness" rose suggested. "okay. but Adar has complained much differently" "well then. Okay. I will be taking a walk around and ill be back at nine-thirty." rose said packing her flute up. the time right now was 12:30. " okay, but behave". she started running. she ran into a tall gate that she had never seen before. she didn't care what was on the other side. she needed to get away. on the other side she saw something that she could not believe. it was a beautiful, huge back yard like field fenced in by fences and then big trees that let just enough sun light in. it had a small brick shed like house that was covered in weeds and seemed to be abandoned. she decided that she would have this as here own place and name it "Secret Garden of Rose"

***WINNER of the "BREATHTAKING: A FANTASY AND SCIENCE FICTION NOVEL WRITING COMPETITION!" "You are a secret kept from the world, but not from me." So begins the peculiar message found slipped under a bedroom door on the morning of May first. Theo is the heir to a powerful dictatorship. The number of people allowed to know he exists is few. He has spent his entire life walled up in the Tower, the looming stone monolith from which his father rules over the Land. Merryn is the daughter of political prisoners. She's known who Theo is longer than he would think possible, and she is taking a great risk contacting him via handwritten notes in order to convince him he deserves more than the fate his father has designed for him. She has one month to exchange daily messages with him, to answer his questions and open his eyes to the realities of a world he has never been allowed to see. A revolution is coming to the Land at the end of the month, and if Merryn's notes fail to get their point across, Theo may never live to see the sunrise on June first. A/N: The following letters were originally published each day from May 1st-31st, 2014. As you will see,Theo is allowed to write down a question for Merryn each evening, but you, the reader, won't see these within the body of the story. It may or may not be obvious from Merryn's response what Theo is asking. Part of the fun is guessing what his questions might be, but if you really want to know what they are, a list of those questions is at the end of the story. This story is a re-imagining of Rapunzel. Now, without further ado-I believe a young heir is about to unfold a slip of paper found on the tile floor near his door... Let's see what it says!

(Note: this story is more PG-16 for there is mild sexual contact and vulgar language. Warning I am dyslexic so there are grammar problems within this story, so please try to overlook it. Working on editing now that the story is finished.) Hot List Achievements (1/28/2015) General Fiction #2

I'm Ivy Hilton, and I screwed up. Big time. One, I'm one of the most powerful wizards in my world, and the next, I'm half-magic, stranded in the mortal realm, and fighting for my life. Why? Because I thought I could outsmart another wizard who's just as stubborn and reckless as I am. Spoiler: I couldn't. Now, the only way to get home is to find some mythical place called the Garden of Stone. Yeah, it sounds made up to me too, but it's my only shot. Oh, and did I mention there are powerful beings-disguised as humans, of course-who want me dead before I can even get close? Fantastic, right? My magic's running low, I've got no allies, and the longer I stay here, the more I realize that maybe this whole mess is way bigger than me. But hey, no pressure. If I fail, it's not just my problem-it's the end of both our worlds. So yeah, no big deal.
