[Season Four]

Following the events of "Born Again", Layla El-Faouly and Alina Kilgrave continue to fulfill Thomas Kilgrave's dying wish to liberate the women of the fallen Taskmaster Society while also remaining on high alert for the Order, a mysterious organization led by Alina's uncle Viktor, who seeks to do the impossible: bring the dead back to life.

With Twi'lio under new leadership and time no longer on their side, Layla and her team must journey far from home to the desert and locate the old facility of the Society's beginnings in the hopes of finding answers to Alina's origins of royalty and who her father really was, but as the Order begins to move quicker than ever in their attempts to kill Alina, she will inevitably be brought face to face with her uncle, and nothing will ever be the same for those caught in the crossfire.

In eight chapters, the story of Aeterna Noctis's two protagonists will soon come to a boiling point in the penultimate season, with new enemies, new allies and even deeper, darker secrets to be unearthed, the race to the final battle against Viktor Kilgrave might just become their hardest fight yet.
