Ex boyfriends are the worst.

But ex boyfriends who stand you up the night of junior prom? Well, they're worse than the worst. They're practically the devil in human form.

Maddie Mendoza is over Noah Hawthorne. They're done. Out of the picture. Finished. Over.

Maddie is ready to get out of her home town of River County, California, and now that she's graduated high school, she can do just that. She's going to college in the fall, but before that, she and her two best friends- along with her twin brother Ash and his BFF Cade- are going on a summer-long, cross-country road trip. Just the five of them, a rented RV, and enough memories to last them a lifetime.

That was the plan, at least.

But as it turns out, Cade has a step-brother wants to come along, too.

And his name is Noah Hawthorne.

This is going to be one hell of a ride.
