Maribell Winters is a scholar who most would consider a little pardoxal ball of magic. She can use it sure, but the effects rarely match the intent, with only a few beginner spells she could use with decent consistency. She does, however, excel in brewing. In fact she may be the best there ever was in her potion making craft.
Her best friend Serah is of the rarest breed of mage, a summoner. One cannot really begin to try explaining the limit to their capability; so I wont.
And finally, Wren Kindley, the genious mage of their generation. He has mastery over near every type of magic and works for the grand council.
The three mages are suddenly tasked with a joint expedition that will aid in each of their respective research, but what troubles await them on it? They couldn't have guessed.
