These lands use to be owned by over 500 Native American Tribes. Let me take you into my world. The war is still not over. The Natives are still fighting for their land back.
One woman preferred peace. She was the peace maker, the Queen of the Cherokee's, Wild Rose of the Cherokees. She did what no other woman I. Her time ever done, she stood against the government for her people's rights.
I am the grand-daughter of a grand-Daughter. Her blood runs through my veins and I am proud to say that I fought for all my people then just like I fight for all my people now.

What my mother neglected to tell me during my studies was that you don't always get what you want, the outcome you think is coming doesn't always happen, and when the smoke clears, you're always going to be the last one standing.
