"Where have you been?"
He asked her calmly but sternly

Silence.
She said nothing.

"I'm asking you," he repeated, louder now-.
She still didn't answer, but turned to leave, the sting of disappointment gripping her throat.

But before she could take a step, he grabbed her wrist.

"Where do you think you're going?" he snapped, voice taut with frustration.
In one swift motion, he pulled her back and pinned her gently but firmly against the wall.
The air crackled around them.

"Why are you behaving like this?" he demanded, his eyes boring into hers.

"Leave me!" she shot back, her voice sharp, cracking.
"What's wrong with you?"

His patience snapped.

"why!" he shouted.

"You've been avoiding me, shutting me out, walking around like a ghost! And when I ask you-you push me away! Why, Sona? What did I do?"

Her chest heaved.
Tears welled in her eyes.
His grip loosened slightly, but his gaze never faltered.

"You want to know?" she hissed, eyes wild with pain.
"You really want to know what's wrong with me?"

"Yes!" he shouted back, breathless, helpless.

She shoved him back.

"I love you, Adharv sir !"
Her voice echoed like thunder through the room.
"That's what's wrong with me. That's what's killing me."she run away from there

Disclaimer: This is going to be a slow burn ____________________________________________________ "Just because I live under your roof, you think that gives you the right to say anything you want to me?" I shot back, my anger boiling over. How could he be so disrespectful? So unwilling to listen? He wasn't even trying to understand-he was just making assumptions. "Well, you're free to leave and live under any other roof you choose," he replied, shrugging as if it meant nothing to him. He gestured towards the door, his hand sweeping out in a cold, dismissive motion. "You'd be doing me a favor." "Yes, I will! I'm not going to stay here anyway!" I nearly yelled, my voice cracking under the weight of the emotions I had been struggling to contain. "Please do. My house isn't an orphanage," he snapped, his tone sharp and cutting. I froze, the words slicing through me like a knife. It was as if everything inside me stopped-the words I wanted to say, the thoughts I needed to think, they all vanished, leaving only a painful, hollow echo. His words kept repeating in my head, over and over, as I stared at him in disbelief. Tears that I had been holding back for so long finally broke free, streaming down my face.

He was waiting outside the OP, there for his student who had been injured during a fight over a phone. As he sat, casually glancing at his own phone, he suddenly heard the faint sound of a baby crying. Curious, he turned toward the sound-and froze. There, outside the pediatric care unit, sat his wife with their son crying in her arms. His heart ached-it had been months since he last saw his son. His gaze shifted to his wife, gently consoling the child. Her face looked tired, pale, and completely drained. Without a second thought, he stood, tears welling in his eyes. Each step he took felt heavy, his chest tightening with every cry from his son. As he neared, he saw her clothes were faded and worn. Her feet were bare, hardened from walking-clearly straight from the farm. His heart clenched. His eyes moved to his son-he had grown so much. She was so focused on calming the baby that she didn't notice him at first. Tears filled her eyes as she held their feverish child close. He softly called her name. Startled, she looked up-and froze. Then she quickly lowered her gaze and tried to get up. He gently placed a hand on her shoulder, stopping her. She sat back down, turning her face away, quietly wiping her tears. He reached out to take their son. The moment he held him, he felt the heat-his little body was burning with fever. A chill ran through him. After all these months, seeing his child like this was unbearable. He loved his wife and son deeply, but his loyalty to his mother-and obedience to her word-always came first. Between a mother who owned his soul and a wife who held his heart, he was a man torn in a cruel war of love and loyalty. And she-she had given her all to a promise whispered beneath the sacred fire... never knowing that one day, she'd be holding her child, with nothing but a faded vow.
