Well, duh, it's hard. 

But it can be ruined easily by bullying. 

Jessie Limpton is a shy girl who can't live with a happy life. She thinks her life is just bad luck. 

Her mom died during labor. 

Her dad is abusive to her. 

Her brother is her only hope. 

As she starts her first year of middle school, things increasingly get worse.
