Cristina Mercedes Fernandez, wrongfully ejected from her high school in Madrid for "behavioural-misconduct", was deported to the Philippines to live with her aunt.

Yes, deported.

Her retraction from the international school of Madrid- in exchange for a clean record- had sketchy written all over it, yet her parents saw fit to further punish her and had her transferred to HVIS, of which her aunt was an alumnus (this grand idea was a result of a harsh Filipina mother and a scheming busybody of an older sister).

As if to make matters worse, her clean record doesn't even do her any good. Cristina winds up in section-E, the 'ass-end' of HVIS, meant for 'troubled kids' with bad records. Was it a mistake that she ended up there? Or was fate just doing its thing?

This story is an adaptation of "Ang mutya ng section e" or "The gem of section e", based on my experience of the filmed series and NOT the book (I haven't read the whole thing). I'll be adding some original events, but this story will still follow most of the original work's plot.

All characters- other than Cristina Mercedes Fernandez- and the general storyline are owned by @eatmore2behappy , so please read their original work!!

Lorenz's life was predictable. A small, bustling coastal town in the Philippines, university applications, and the constant, familiar rhythm of his language, Tagalog. He was nineteen, easygoing, and entirely unprepared for the American summer that was about to arrive. Lucas flew in from the United States-handsome, refined, and completely out of place. He was the son of Lorenz's mother's close friend, sent to the tropics for a month-long vacation. He knew crisp English and nothing of the sticky heat, the crowded jeepneys, or the deep, complex hospitality of a Filipino home. The two were immediately bound by obligation. Lorenz was Lucas's unwilling guide; Lucas was Lorenz's linguistic burden. They were forced to navigate small spaces, loud family dinners, and streets full of noise, communicating through simple sentences and frustrated gestures. Every encounter became a study in translation. Lorenz struggled to find the perfect English phrase to explain a cultural nuance. Lucas struggled to understand why rice is life. But as the initial annoyance faded, something else began to form in the gaps between the two languages. In shared silences, in accidental touches, and in the effort to simply understand each other, the distance between them narrowed. This is a story about what happens when two worlds collide, and when the words you use aren't enough to contain the feelings you are trying to hide. ........ I'm just me, with some added attitude and some family problems. I want to get over this whole virginity thing to be honest, it's stupid, but I've turned down most of the boys at school. They just aren't what I want and definitely don't strike me as being amazing in bed, thats for sure.. but it's more than that, they're exactly that. Boys. I want a man and when I find the man I want to show me how to be a woman, I keep coming after him. Only one problem... He's my teacher. I'm Scott Myer, just out of uni and got a brand new job. Hopefully this job will keep me on track from all my problems back home, keep me on the straight and narrow so I can get my life back. I've started today and already I know I'm in trouble, hopefully I can focus on just teaching for once... So why when I see my tutor class for the first time, in morning registration, do I see one girl that I can't seem to get out of my head? And why do I keep coming for her?
