To Adanna her image was everything. How wouldn't it be when she was entrusted by her late father to pursue her education and better the family in his absence. The plan was simple, get good grades, a good job-enough to send money back home-and live the model life. How hard could that be? After all, she managed to get into her dream university, putting her that much closer to her dream life. Everything was going according to plan until it isn't. Waking up in a strange hotel on a school night wasn't part of the plan. Neither was waking up naked next to her dead boyfriend Rotimi. Adanna is a lot of things, a liar, a serial manipulator, but she is not a killer and she is not going to go down without a fight. She's determined to clear her name and uncover the truth. But with the police closing in, Adanna is afraid she might end up in prison if she doesn't act fast, or worse... in a grave next to Rotimi.
