To Adanna her image was everything.

How wouldn't it be when she was entrusted by her late father to pursue her education and better the family in his absence.

The plan was simple, get good grades, a good job-enough to send money back home-and live the model life. How hard could that be? After all, she managed to get into her dream university, putting her that much closer to her dream life.
