Eden is the leader of a criminal duo containing her and her friend, Ame. The two recruit Ame's best friend, Jessie. While Jessie accepts, he soon finds himself in a dilemma, on whether he should let his morals stay or go. Yet in the criminal group, easy come means easy go.
April and Angel are a couple. April is a recovered drug addict, and Angel is a somewhat messy individual, whose morals fall in the gray area. When they suddenly find themselves victims of crime, they decide to hunt down who exactly is behind the crimes. They decide to use their friends for help, and try to stay low. Yet once you're a victim, you can't reach liberation so easily.
All the while, Mortem's employer waits in the shadows to make sure everything goes accordingly to plan. The fabled Beruze.
"Why read this story?" You may ask. Well, this story is a full rewrite of an old story, thus leaving a stable plot along with new information and new events to occur! While the main story still has the same overarching plot, chapters now have been rewritten to include more world building and emotion, along with 3 main plot lines! One focuses on morality and action, the second emotion, and the third is a more secret plot, focusing on the land of Hell.

I stood with my back to her, shielding her, and my murderous eyes stared down at the poor excuse of a man, promising unimaginable pain if he dared to move or even flinch.
