The world has frozen over.  The humans neglected the warnings of their dying planet and their greed fed into the god of plague and blight. 
It has been a couple centuries since birds sang and rivers ran freely. A frozen tundra as far as the eye can see. But, people did survive.  Does that mean other things did too?
A goddess of nature, wandering the world in mourning, unexpectedly creates a new life, a being not human nor god. What will this new life bring to the world? Perhaps... rejuvenation? Or will the remaining humans scorn the possible miracle that has landed in their midst.
Born from nature that was frozen in ice, Violet makes her way into the world. Finding her purpose and way to make a life in this frozen world.

For some reason, instead of screaming, I stay silent. She smiles and pulls out a chair from the kitchen table for me to sit on. When I don't sit, she says, "If you want to know what's going on, then sit." I think about it for a moment. She hasn't hurt me yet, and I have to admit, I am quite curious as to what's going on.
