Being back in Florida for spring break, Aniya wasn't sure was she was expecting. So when she touches down in Miami with her mother, she revisits so many different feelings she wasn't expecting. She wasn't expecting to run into her mom's best friend's son, Elijah. Elijah was quiet and somewhat mysterious but it intrigued her. One late night turns her curiosity into her craving. She finds herself chasing the attention and passion from someone who only gives in when he feels like it. Elijah was intense in private but distant in public, and it left Aniya caught in between how he makes her feel and how he makes her question herself. What starts off as passion turns into a messy, obsessive, toxic, and confusing love story.
