Aarav Malhotra doesn't believe in ghosts. He believes in facts, in evidence, in the undeniable truth of the human mind. But when an old, dust-covered diary finds its way into his hands, everything he knows begins to unravel. Saira Mirza. The name appears over and over in its pages, written in trembling ink-sometimes as a plea, sometimes as a warning. The diary belonged to her. But Saira Mirza has been dead for over seventy years... hasn't she? Then why does he hear her voice at night? Why does her shadow flicker just beyond his vision? And why does he feel like he's known her before? The more he reads, the more the world around him changes. Mirrors show glimpses of things that aren't there. His name appears in the diary-on pages that should have been written decades ago. And deep within the words of the past, a sinister presence begins to stir. What happened to Saira Mirza in 1953? Why does her story feel so unfinished? And the most terrifying question of all- If she's been dead for seventy years... then who is it that keeps calling his name?
