Newt, Ivy, Thomas and Minho are back. This time with a little twist though, people running around like madmen and W.I.C.K.E.D playing tricks. 

The scorch, the gladers now have to face the hottest, deadliest thing yet, with limited food and water and no shelter. 

During their trip, Ivy becomes... different. She's not the fun outgoing girl from the Glade. After watching her best friend die before her eye's Ivy has shut down. 

Can Newt make his girlfriend happy again? Or will something be picking at his brain?

"What do you mean?" Newt questioned. 

"Do you remember who you were, before the world told you who you should be?" She asked. He looked down to his hands before rubbing his face.
