Buck's biggest fear is being abandoned because he's always felt alone. His parents had him for spare parts so he's never felt like he belongs here. The problem is: Everyone around him leaves so he thinks it's his fault and that nobody would care if he was gone. 

Eddie Diaz is his best friend. He knows when something is wrong with Buck. There's a deeper connection with him and Buck than there is with the rest of the 118. With Bobby gone, everyone at the 118 is a mess. No one thinks anything of it when Buck doesn't show up for the shift next morning. Except for Eddie. 

Will he be able to save Buck in time? Or is it too late to save him from what they've all been ignoring?
