Akshara Singhania, a beautiful and brilliant medical student, gets the opportunity to work as the physiotherapist for the Indian Cricket Team after passing her college with flying colors. Ultimately, she gets thrown into the orbit of her long time crush, Shubman Gill.
All Akshara wanted was a quiet job, away from the drama. Instead she got a headline-making cricketer and an absurd fake dating arrangement. But between faked cuddles, accidental jealousy, and a whole lot of late-night banter... they might just forget they were supposed to be pretending.
"Careful, Akshu." Shubman said with a teasing grin." At this rate I might just fake another injury to keep you around."
She smirked, "Please. If you wanted my attention, you could've just pulled a muscle like a normal cricketer."
"And miss the chance to have my personal physiotherapist around? No way."
She raised an eyebrow and said, "Keep talking like that and people might actually think that you're falling for me."
He leaned towards her and whispered, "Who said I am not?"

Acquaintances
I didn't expect to see him on the race tracks, dressed in his khakis and Burberry sunglasses. "Ajooni." He called out and I froze at the familiar voice. I couldn't believe my ears as I turned to look at almost 6 feet of swagger walking towards me. "Shubh?" I said, as his lips curled in a smile that took my breath away. "What are you doing here in Delhi?" He said, and I felt like I was in his lawn stepping over his mother's seedlings of coriander all over again. "I... I... was..." I stutter as his smile broadened, the surprise settling in. "Are you nervous?" "I am here because one of their horses had colic and needed emergency surgery." I say taking a deep breath and bringing my wits about to myself. "Yes, you wanted to become a doctor. Congrats, Dr. Ajooni Randhawa." He said, as I smiled. "And you wanted to become a cricketer. Congratulations for that... Mr. Shubman Gill."Complete

A Shubman Gill fanfiction There are some people you never really get over. Not because you still love them-sometimes you do, sometimes you don't. But because what happened between you and them carved something so deep, even time walks around it carefully. For Rhea Merchant, Shubman Gill was that person. They weren't just college sweethearts-they were gravity. He was the rising cricket star with charm, ambition, and the world at his feet. She was the fiercely intelligent psychology major who saw past his fame and into the boy beneath. Their love was built in libraries, whispered during bus rides to outstation matches, and sealed under moonlit rooftops in Delhi. The kind of love people wrote poetry about. Until it broke. Until a scandal exploded that nearly destroyed Shubman's career, and all the evidence pointed to the one person he trusted most: Rhea. She didn't defend herself. He didn't ask twice. Six years passed like strangers walking in opposite directions on a crowded street-close enough to remember, far enough to forget. Now, their paths collide again in South Africa, where Shubman is vice-captain of Team India and Rhea is flown in last-minute as a sports psychologist to manage rising anxiety cases within the squad. They meet in a hotel hallway. A glance. A pause. And then- She walks past like he's air. He doesn't even flinch. But beneath the surface, memories smolder. The silence between them is not absence-it's tension, bruised trust, and unsaid apologies wrapped in ego. As they're forced into shared spaces, media storms, and high-stakes matches, old wounds crack open. Rhea discovers the truth behind the betrayal she never cleared. And Shubman realizes the weight of the silence he never broke. They say time heals everything. But time never healed them. Because what they had wasn't just love. It was almost. Always.Complete
Halfway to Home
They promised to never forget each other. But life, fame, and oceans of silence have a cruel way of making people strangers. Arunika Goyal left Fazilka with a full scholarship to one of America's top medical schools. Focused, brilliant, and emotionally guarded, she rose to become a respected trauma surgeon - known more for her skill with a scalpel than for soft sentiments. Shubman Gill, meanwhile, stayed. And soared. From dusty school grounds to international stadiums, he became India's cricketing star. But behind the fame and spotlight, there was always one unanswered question, one person who disappeared without goodbye. Eight years later, fate - and a freak injury - bring them back into the same orbit in Mumbai. She's assigned to the BCCI's elite sports medicine team for a six-month research collaboration. He's the star patient - and the one ghost from her past she never wanted to face in scrubs and silence. Some wounds don't bleed, but they never quite heal either.Complete
Blueprints and Boundaries
A Shubman Gill fanfiction Cricket was more than a sport in India. It was religion, rhythm, routine. It echoed through living rooms, spilled out of tea stalls, and stopped traffic when a six soared over the boundary. Shubman Gill was its golden boy - calm under pressure, camera-loved, his bat writing headlines before he even spoke. To millions, he was a phenomenon. But fame, as he'd learned, could be loud and lonely. Every cheer came with expectation. Every silence, a judgment. In the game, he found glory. Off the field, he often lost himself. Saisha Arora lived on the opposite end of that spectrum. No cameras. No chaos. Just ancient forts, faded frescoes, and sandstone walls that held secrets older than the game itself. A heritage conservation architect, Saisha believed in preservation - of history, of silence, of self. Where others saw rubble, she saw resilience. She had no time for celebrity culture, viral headlines, or boys with stadiums screaming their name. So when she found herself dragged to a stadium - surrounded by painted faces and cricket hysteria - she didn't expect anything. Certainly not to meet him. But fate has its own timing. And sometimes, love arrives not with grand declarations, but with stolen glances and unexpected collisions. This is the story of two people from opposite worlds - Of match days and monument walks, Of headlines and heritage, Of a chase that had nothing to do with runs - and everything to do with finding someone who made you stop. Because not all love stories begin in the spotlight. Some begin in the silence between the cheers.Complete

◇ Checking the time on my watch, I barged out of my hotel room only to collide with someone. A tub of chocolate ice cream splashed all over my white night dress. Fuming with anger, I looked up to see the culprit who caused this damage, but froze as soon as I saw his face. Shubman Gill stood right infront of me, smiling while scratching his neck, as the next sentence unknowingly escaped my mouth. "Oh boy, is this.. an.." I blinked before saying the next word.
