This is part 4 of my Short Story collection! I don't know how long it'll be but its going so far!
This short story was inspired by Sleep Tokens new Album release and my favorite song from the album. It has some of the lyrics woven into it to make it that much better!

Meeting sleep tokens' bassist after one of their concerts wasn't on her bingo card. But then again, she didn't. Blues is just another person, with his tired eyes and boyish smile, who appears to share a lot of interest with her. But why not stay with each other? To find comfort in each others arms? Just for tonight. When I wake in the hospital, adorned with a new scar across me from the fateful day I lost everything, I have no choice but to try and pick up the life that I left behind in America without Vessel by my side. With no contact from him and a broken heart, I am set to graduate with a psychology degree and am forced to move on. The Summoning (Sleep Token FanFiction)
Making a deal with the God of Sleep wasn't exactly on my bingo card, but neither was getting caught up in a sacrificial ritual. The four men in masks saved me only to bring me to their own church of worship, telling me I can't go home because of the debt I owe. But a pact made long ago with the God and the one they call Vessel has me questioning my trust in them, especially when the standoff-ish Vessel of Sleep, the leader of the group, seems to know something I don't. The only way to learn the truth is to delve deeper into their lives, digging up my own buried past along with it... This is a slow burn romance mystery.
