Becoming Her

Born Muslim. But that was never the whole story.
This is for the girls who wear hijab but still feel lost.
For the ones who pray, but feel nothing.
For the ones who laugh out loud, but cry in silence.
For the ones who know the rules-yet still don't know how to live them.

Becoming Her follows a group of Northern Nigerian Muslim teenage girls who are all trying-desperately-to find their place between faith and pressure, family and freedom, the dunya and their deen.
They're not perfect. They gossip, they judge, they get judged, they fall, and some don't get back up.
Because this isn't a story about perfect Muslims.
It's a story about real ones.

Not everyone gets a beautiful ending. But maybe... one of them becomes her.
